Jim is a one of a kind barber. It's a step into a time where conversation is as important as the cut. Been going for 15 yrs and always enjoyed the experience and a nice cut. Would highly recommend anyone take the time to enjoy they're hair cut.

I was in Chelsea on a Monday, I wanted a haircut but forgot that most of the barbershops are closed. I noticed that Jack's & Son was opened. I went in for the first time. However, I realized I forgot my wallet and money, Jim offered to cut it on a honor code. I told him I was growing my hair longer so just a light trim. I get nervous saying that to a new barber that I'm first time visiting. I usually walk out looking like a military bootcamp cadet. But Jim did just what I asked, he cut my hair great. Scissors are sharp and skills are on point.He likes talking about old motorcycles, does not want to hear flapping gums about politics and medical opinions unless you happen to have a PhD in virology or other similar sciences.CASH ONLY.
