Sturgeon River Kennels is one of the Copper Country's longest-running boarding facilities, open since 1991. They have a 28-kennel facility with individual 5x5 indoor runs and 5x10 attached outdoor runs. The business also offers a large, grassy outdoor dog yard with 6' chain-link fences for the dogs to enjoy. All animals must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including Bordetella, and dogs must be on a leash when arriving and departing. Customers praise the facility, describing it as a "great find" with reasonable prices and clear drop-off and pick-up hours, where their pets were well-cared for.
