I am a bit late on my review but I ordered some bare root Japanese Red Maple trees last year. It was an easy order process, prices were reasonable and the saplings arrived on time and in great shape. I am totally happy with the entire process and products delivered.

Highly recommended. I am a licensed nursery/grower in Northern California (doing business as Granny Grace's Garden). Until I found Porcupine Hollow on the internet, I had never heard of them but decided to give them a try. In the past few months I received 3 shipments of Japanese Maple liners (just under 150 trees) from Porcupine Hollow and could not have been more pleased with my order. The nursery owners were very helpful and friendly, trees were healthy, packed beautifully, and arrived in excellent condition (without exception!) and sailed right through CA Ag. Inspection. I will definitely order again ... soon!

I have purchased several hundred bare root transplants from Pat and Molly over the last several years, mainly for reforestation projects around Chicago, IL. The trees are excellent quality and their customer service is outstanding with excellent pricing. I highly recommend them and feel we’re very lucky to have farms like theirs producing trees. Don’t take these kinds of operations for granted and cut em some slack if you don’t hear back in a nanosecond.
