“McGlinch installed a skylight and then added two windows to our family room. The whole team really provides white glove service from start to finish. They also do not try to upsell and give conservative advice. In the family room, we were originally going to add skylights. The location would likely have made the room look odd, and they let me know. I appreciated the advice. When we talked about adding windows to the space (my idea), we made sure that they were comfortable and I was comfortable with the work beforehand. We had a plan and they took time to explain it to me. Likewise, there were a couple of points where we needed to pivot, and they were there with me every step of the way. For example, the windows were dropped off prematurely when I was unavailable, and they fixed it. Similarly, I did not want our old paneling put back up, and they accommodated me with new drywall. When you have big projects, things are going to come up. I felt like I could trust them and the team was there for me. The craftsmanship is also fantastic and the team is experienced and takes great pride in their work. As a bonus, the people that work there seem happy and stick around. They may be a little bit more expensive then other contractors, but you are going to get good advice, good service, and good quality. A really customer centered company! Highly recommend! “I had Sun Home Improvement replace all my windows, replace three exterior doors and install new siding, trim and gutters. The whole team -- everyone I interacted with -- was top notch: knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Rob was great. He was extremely patient and helpful while I was making decisions, had in-depth knowledge of siding, windows, etc., and made the whole process smooth and straight forward for me. He did a fantastic job explaining things and letting me know what to expect. I came away with a very good gut feeling after meeting with Rob.

Sun’s quote was a little more than the other bids I got, but as the adage says: you get what you pay for. None of the other companies came close to giving me the confidence that Sun gave me. None of the others included the product quality that Sun planned (siding thickness, for example). The choice was easy.

The installation crews were efficient, personable and always ready to answer questions / explain what they were doing. They made me aware of damage they found under my old siding and in the framing for one of my windows (expected) and made sure it was repaired. The siding lead, Brian, even alerted me to sketchy electrical connections for my exterior garage lights, clearly a DIY job by the prior owner using speaker wire. It would have been easy to skip right over that and just finish the job (I’d be none the wiser), but he made sure I knew about it and helped me get them done correctly.

Sun did an excellent job all around and the place looks wonderful. When it’s time for a new roof, I know who I will be calling.“
