“Our 3-year-old son is autistic, and haircuts have always been an extremely difficult experience for him. As parents, we’ve gone into haircuts feeling anxious and worried, never knowing how he was going to react or whether we would even be able to get through the haircut. We decided to try Sharkey's, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we were in good hands. We explained to Autumn our son’s needs, our concerns, and what we had experienced in the past. Autumn didn’t just listen to us—she genuinely took the time to understand. She was incredibly patient, gentle, and thoughtful with every single step of the haircut. Watching our son tolerate his haircut so well was honestly emotional for us. It was the first time we had ever seen him get through a haircut with that level of comfort, and we walked out of Sharkey's feeling so incredibly happy and relieved. Something that has always been a source of stress for our family suddenly felt like something we could actually look forward to.
