Our dog needed her CCL/TPLO hardware removed from her knee. The original surgeon who did our the knee operation was going to charge us an incredibly large amount. I wouldn't have been able to afford it. I spoke directly with Dr. Pratt, who was informative and kind, ovwr the phone. We scheduled surgery after receiving a quote that I could actually afford. Morning of surgery was so smooth and they were so good to our dog. I feel like more places like this should exist. Everyone along the way explained what would happen, the cost and the consequences. I will use them again (if I have to!) And HIGHLY recommend them. A+ and 10 stars if i could! ♡
Our vet recommended surgery for what was suspected to be a torn CCL. They took X-rays and said surgery was the best option. However, we are so happy we got a second opinion from the team at Advanced Veterinary Care Group. After reviewing his X-rays and a physical exam of his back left leg, Dr. Pratt said he didn't require surgery because it wasn't a torn CCL. We were relieved to not put our 11 year old Aussie through an unnecessary procedure. They were upfront about the cost and discussed with us what we needed to do for him to recover. Very grateful for this team!
We had been pumping our poor pup with drugs just to get her comfortable. Then one day she just could not stand on her hind legs. I was devastated, scared and worried about what could be wrong. She was only 4. I had used Advanced in the past for a MRI for my cat during Covid so I had been there before. My regular vet felt it may be a torn CCL. So I scheduled a consultation with Advanced and met with Dr Pratt. She was informative, understanding, and confident. Her staff Kaylee, Stacey and Treasure were so kind and helpful.
