We first heard about Bruce's company from the Facebook group, Overheard in Traverse City. We recently moved to the area and were looking for some hard-to-find Colorado Blue Spruce Evergreen trees. Bruce connected me to his right-hand man Mike who we worked with through the remainder of our transaction. Mike was like a pitbull and really went to bat for us to try to find the trees of our dreams. While all other companies were trying to talk us out of what we wanted and would rather we buy what they had on their property, Mike literally looked all over Michigan for our trees. Being winter time we had time to spare and left him at his job. He finally called us and had 8 new trees for us at the height and type we wanted. We had to work around their Christmas Tree lot obligations but eventually landed on a date to plant. His crew came out and between the three of them had the holes dug and 8 new trees planted within 4 hours. We were impressed with their obvious experience with the trees and operation of the bobcat tractor as they weaved in and out between existing trees and a paver patio. Nothing was damaged, and everything was exactly where we wanted them. We could not be happier. We spent the weekend decorating 3 of them and it even brought a tear to my Wife's eye when we were done. Thank you Bruce for your experience, rockstar team, and patience to the end. We might bother you for a couple more next spring.
Bruce said he would replace any trees he sold and planted if they died within the first 12 months. They died. Now he is not honoring his commitment nor is he returning phone calls and messages. He owes me $2400 or 6 trees. The only thing I can do about this is warn everyone I can reach to not trust this dishonest man.
