Genesys After Hours Clinic

I sliced my finger on glass while putting up holiday decorations and needed stitches. I headed to the after-hours clinic. I was promptly seen, given a tetanus shot, my finger sutured and was on my way home within the hour. The staff was friendly and efficient. Havingworked in Health care for over 40 years at numerous institutions, I have to say this was some of the best care I have received. Keep up the good work.

The office staff seemed nice enough. I found the doctor that was working to be very annoyed that my doctors office wanted me to go there (doc office couldn't fit me in). I felt that this attitude was then geared towards me. If that doctor does not like working with sick people then perhaps she should find a different career. The professionalism was definitely lacking.

Last night (Saturday) around 7:30pm I discovered my son had pink eye. We were in Fenton and the closest place was the McLaren ER on Owen Rd. Having been there before the wait times were never terrible. We got there and it was a 6-8 hour wait. I called Genesys After Hours Clinic @ 8:03 in the parking lot of McLaren ER on Owen because they were the only urgent care open. We got there 19 minutes later, when we arrived the staff was very friendly and the physician was super diligent and quick. We had his scripts in hand at 9:04. It was the FASTEST urgent care trip ever made
