“We contacted several local landscape designers in early 2023 to get quotes and design ideas for around our new construction home and Karleen far stood out from the others. The passion and depth of her knowledge about plants/trees/bushes is truly remarkable and very evident. As we walked our property together, she provided very informative and specific design ideas on what to plant and where. We agreed with her ideas, offered our own preferences, and in a couple weeks she provided a large printed drawing of our home and everything we talked about...including pictures of the actual plants, how many of each to use, and the specific locations to plant them! We were so impressed with our experience with Karleen that later in 2023 we contracted with LD&A a couple more times for different projects, including installation of a large raingarden! Kam and the rest of the crew flawlessly installed the raingarden, which included excavation and haul away, bringing in new soil, boulders, stone, all the native plants, mulch, etc...and they did it all without damaging any of the surrounding grass or trees! They were all very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with! We couldn't be more happy or impressed with everyone at LD&A and will continue to use them for all of our landscaping needs. And the lighting is connected to the back yard. It looks amazing. As always, Craig and the team were fast and efficient. But most importantly, the communication was perfect and the team has a great eye for what is possible with the space. Thanks again! ...and we are already planning more ideas for next year. :)2023 Update: We happily had Michigan Landscape Professionals come back to replace our old wood retaining wall across the front of the house. We now have a beautiful boulder wall. Check out the new pictures. Once the grass grows and we get to plant some flowers it will look even better. :) The best part about Michigan Landscape Professionals is that they will help you find what you are looking for. It is hard for me to visualize what the yard will look like once it is done. Craig and the team are very good at working with you to find what it is you want. Thanks again to Craig and his team for the excellent work!2024 Update: Yes, this is the fourth time we have had Michigan Landscape Professionals work on our property. :) Their quality work and vision for how a property can be transformed is amazing. This year, we had the back of our property converted from a sloping, unusable hill into a flat yard with a boulder wall. New pictures are attached. Craig and his team are so easy to work with, and they strive to make everything perfect. The team works hard and completed the projects fast.
