Do not hire them if you would like them to follow science-based environmentally friendly and money saving practices. I'm a Forester with a PhD in forest pathology. I asked the owner why they were cutting oaks during the high risk period for oak wilt transmission. Among his responses were "Trump says to drink bleach, you can believe what you want."

Livingston county is an especially high risk region for oak wilt. This action could lead to the death of dozens of oaks in this area and huge cleanup costs for landowners, including those surrounding this property. There are also oak savannah restoration projects nearby that are threatened by these behaviors.

Chris's tree service arrived on time, went to work immediately cutting the tree up while the crew took the debris, limbs to the shredder.When done, the crew thoroughly raked the entire area. I would bring Chris back in a heartbeat.
