Ran into these folk at the Cassopolis County fair and saw a stone that my GF is a fan of. I asked the lady if she could make it into a necklace for her and she took the challenge. She painstakingly hand crafted a beautiful wire cage to go around the stone for me to give to her. It was an excellent piece that she made in a short amount of time for me. Can't thank these guys enough. Recommend them highly ☆☆☆☆☆.
Interesting store with some unusual items.
Adrian and Heather are extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Adrian is a geologist by training. Specimens are extremely well labeled and are unique and of nice quality. Adrian has a number of connections and thus a number of items were from, but not limited to, former collections of either his own or colleagues collected over a number of years (over 30 years in some cases). They have also added to their collection items from personal digs (he has a personal lapidary studio and will make his own spheres and cobochons, etc.). Their relatively new store is a gem found conveniently off of Exit 16 on I-94 right north of the Indiana-Michigan border. Bridgman is a bit of a distance from me but I hope to drop by again when driving to Chicago and certainly plan on catching them at Rock and Mineral shows which are nearer to me.
