From Oakland Neuropsychology Center
About
The Oakland Neuropsychology Center is one of Michigan’s leading psychological testing and psychological evaluation centers. We are a patient-centered clinic for neuropsychological testing with children, adolescents, and adults struggling at school, the workplace, or in the community. Isabelle Beaulieu, Ph.D. is a clinical neuropsychologist who focuses primarily on those struggling at school, at their workplace, or in their community. She specializes in the testing and assessment of academic difficulties (reading, writing, math), attention problems (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders, executive functioning problems, language, and spatial processing issues, anxiety, depression, as well as neurological and genetic disorders.
I used the Oakland Neuropsychology Center to help complete the required testing for accommodations on USMLE examinations, and they were fantastic! The staff was familiar with the process and understood the necessary requirements, which made me feel very comfortable. I was able to complete all of this testing and receive the final report in just a few weeks. This allowed me to have a successful submission to USMLE, and I was able to receive all my requested accommodations. I would highly recommend their services!! The staff was also very warm, friendly, and welcoming!
Dr. Beaulieu was instrumental in recieving an ADHD diagnosis and obtaining a 504 for school. All of the staff was friendly and informed. I enjoyed seeing the other clients' drawings on the walls. I would definitely reccomend this clinic for anyone struggling with attention issues. They accept insurance + of course a MEDICAL assessment is going to be pricey.
So very glad we found Oakland Neuropsychology. All staff was friendly and helpful. Our daughter had been struggling & it was wonderful to finally have answers - she's dyslexic. We also hired Dr. Beaulieu to attend our school meeting where she helped us obtain the IEP we'd been seeking. Now we are booking another eval for our son this time, as he's having some learning issues as well and dyslexia can run in families.
