Really a two and a half stars. Very hard to book any kind of appt and usually have to cancel due to appointments not being honored anyway. They can't seem to keep staff, always new people. Good product selection though and sometimes good bargains if you hunt
Leaving 3 starts as not completely satisfied but room to grow. I normally hate the idea of needing to go into Ulta because I always feel discriminated against, uncomfortable and uneasy. I’m normally greeted which is great. However I am normally followed around or watched by employees as I shop around. I try to make my purchases quickly and get out. I visited the Bloomfield Hills store sometime last weekend or so and I was assisted by Miranda. She was amazing! I felt comfortable with her not discriminated against and she was soosososo knowledgeable on so many things!! I’m a regular at this location and today I experienced the best customer service in retail. Laerna and Erica (I hope I spelled those correctly) were two very kind, patient, and helpful associates. They engaged with me as a customer, helped me understand my points, and even waited for me to come back and check out later when my bonus points offer was activated and in effect. On top of that they were so sweet and had the personalities to be in such a fun creative company like Ulta. I hope I run into them again and I hope other customers get the same amazing experience with them that I did. Both deserve promotions and will succeed in anything involving customer service.
