PKSA Karate Bloomfield is a traditional Tang Soo Do school that focuses on developing the mind and body through martial arts. They offer classes for students of all ages, with a curriculum that includes self-defense, character building, fitness, life skills, and bully response strategies. The dojang has been described as uplifting, challenging, and energetic. EVERY instructor is amazing and gives every person the individual attention they need. The individuals that work there and the senior students are such a delight. Master Shruga is an exceptional teacher. Students get everything out of these classes, including exercise, patience, karate skills, confidence, and discipline. PKSA Bloomfield is also an excellent venue for birthday parties. Overall, it is a highly recommended martial arts school for those seeking to improve their physical and mental well-being in a supportive and family-friendly environment.
5 Stars doesn’t do this team justice. They are absolutely outstanding in every way, and do such a good job from day 1 to 1000.
From the second you walk in, you feel like family. Day in and day out Kyo Sa Nim Shruga and staff are positive, motivating, and fun. Young or old, you can expect the same level of care, attention, and encouragement as you advance. The passion they have for Tang Soo Do is apparent, and infectious.
To say they exceeded our expectations is an understatement. If you or your child is at all interested in Karate, I cannot recommend this PKSA location enough.
I’m extremely impressed with the progress my child has made in this karate class! Has quickly grasped the basics and have already progressed through two levels, showing tremendous improvement. The class format is structured and efficient, and it's clear that discipline is emphasized, which I really appreciate.
What stands out the most is how friendly and approachable the teachers are. They create a fun and engaging environment that makes learning enjoyable for the kids. It’s also a wonderful touch that the teachers take the time to remember each student by name—it's these little things that really make a difference and make my child feel valued.
