We were customers of the Troy location. We loved that bldg. The inside had taller ceilings and was about double the size of this location. The parking was also super easy. Unfortunately they closed and combined with this Birmingham location. Parking is a bit of a hassle. Especially if you come out at a busy time. Youll probably need to park behind the store.. The bldg itself is ok but its just not as amazing as Troy was. Not as much room for posters on the walls, etc. They still play great music though. Chelle did an AMAZING job! Incredibly close attention to detail she took her time to make sure it looked perfect! So relaxing, definitely recommend her! AND the shoulder massage was legit!! 11/10 job! Thanks Chelle :)
I visited Floyd's today for a Floyd's cut. I was able to book my appointment online, park easily for free on the street, and I got warmly greeted by Rachel right away. My stylist Kidist was fast and friendly. I was looking for a sophisticated pixie cut with clean edges and texture added. She did all of this and more. I appreciated her wonderful scissor work, attention to detail, and her showing me ways to style it at the end. Every other person I encountered was friendly and as usual the soundtrack and atmosphere was Floyd's cool. I highly recommend them.
