While I did not get a haircut here -- that was my fiancé's pleasure -- I did receive excellent advice on a pomade for my hair. I had a specific look I desired for our upcoming wedding and I received excellent advice and product recommendation. My hair was amazing, as was my partner's. I got my haircut by Cole and he was amazing. We mixed my ideas with his ideas and the haircut turned out amazing as well as the beard trim. Great conversation and a great atmosphere. 5 stars isn’t enough this place deserves 10 stars and I highly recommend it

Story time: my employer used to be located across the street from the Chop Shop. Every day, I'd periodically walk over to Rite Aid to grab drinks and snacks, and wave hi to the owner, Jay, while he was building out the space. At the time, I had some pretty gnarly long hair that I often kept up in a bandana.When Jay opened to the public, I walked in and said "I'd like to set up an appointment for a haircut" and he looked at me with a smile and said "I've been dying to cut your hair since the first time I saw you walk by!"Since then, I've had my hair cut by Jay many times.
