I've been getting my haircuts from Marty for over ten years and have always left a satisfied customer. He is always pleasant and asks how you want your hair cut. Then he makes sure you're happy with your haircut when you leave.

I spent a year or so trying different barbers on the west side after moving to the area. I found Marty at Arm and Anvil at Westgate over a year ago and could not be happier. It is an old school barber experience (ignore the tanning booths). Marty provides a great professional cut and it still looks good after a few weeks, so you know it was done by a professional. He is also able to take care of my son, to his satisfaction, on a few occasions when he is home and needs a cut. Marty is a good guy to boot. The price is a little higher than the competitors, which kept me from trying the shop earlier, but I have once again learned you get what you pay for..I strongly recommend...read full review

Marty provided a great haircut and offered professional advice on a new style for a reasonable price. He also recognized that I didn’t want to make small talk which is something I value in a barber. I will be back.
