“When my wife knew she was nearing the end, she wanted to make all the final arrangements to take as much of the load off the family as possible. She is originally from Greenbush MI and wanted to be laid to rest there, with most of her family. Now living in Washington state, she thought it would be hard to do this over the phone. She called Sunburst Memorial and talked to Mallory, she took the time to talk to Jan and found out out what her interests were, so they could be included on the head stone. She found that Jan loved her gardens and over the years she raised hundreds of prize Parakeets. When I was transferred to Florida 40 years ago I built her an Aviary. where we would spend many hours enjoying watching the Keets add to their family. Mallory created exactly what Jan wanted. Both Mallory and Kristie did a great job in keeping in touch and keeping Jan informed.
