Called to make an appointment, they got me in offering several open appointment times. I checked in per the instructions 15 minutes early, I did not wait long and I was called backed for my visit with the doctor. the nurse was very friendly, took all required information regarding reason for my visit. I did not feel she was rushing she covered everything completeIy. I did not wait long after nurse took my information and checked necessary vital statistics and the doctor entered room and assisted me. Would highly recommend using Acute Care Services at Alcona Health Center in Alpena, very efficient with clients.

I went for a follow-up today and was in and out in 45 minutes! My nurse and doctor are simply the best and so thorough and informative when I have questions or concerns. I love AHC❤️

Originally established in 1978 in Lincoln, MI, Alcona Health Center is a non profit, Federally Qualified, community health center with locations throughout northern Michigan. We are a Patient Centered Medical Home, offering medical, behavioral health, dental and pharmacy services. Medicaid, Medicare and most insurances accepted. Income based sliding fee is available.
