Kind of dark in booths so you can't tell how thorough a wash you're doing until you're done and out unfortunately. Cash only, coin machine dispenser dispenses Susan B. Anthony dollars.
About Whippers Car Wash
Whippers Car Wash offers a reasonably priced, do-it-yourself car wash experience with spacious bays and convenient location. Customers appreciate the great water pressure and clean facilities, although some suggest that better lighting would enhance the experience. The vacuum service is affordable, providing five minutes for just a dollar, making it a popular choice for those needing to keep their vehicles clean. The equipment is well-maintained, and the nostalgic use of dollar coins for vending machines adds a unique touch. Overall, it is a valued spot for car cleaning.

This place may have been top of the line in 1980’s - but nothing has been replaced to make it easier getting a better car wash.
Many other places offer hot water, credit card swipe, under-carriage wash and more.

Where I park when working in Portland, the seagulls have no respect for a clean truck. Great water pressure, I've never had a problem with any of the machines. Clean location. Very convenient location.
