“We cannot thank Jake Audet and his team enough for their work on their home. We relocated into a 30 year old house around 6 years ago. The driveway and walkways were sinking and cracking. The roof shingles were literally falling off daily. There was no lawn to speak of (all moss, trees, and bare dirt). What started out as a project just to reseed grass and remove a few trees ultimately turned into a full face lift on the property.
In addition to a landscape makeover, we replaced the roof, decking, walkways, and repaved the driveway. Jake's team coordinated it all, including putting us in touch with a landscape architect at the project onset, and either performing the work themselves or contracting out all of the necessary carpentry, electric, etc in a way that made it easy for us. The place looks fantastic and should last for the next few decades while we plan to live here. It's nice to finally have a lawn to enjoy with our kids rather than just wooded areas around the property. Folks in our neighborhood have already asked us for a reference for Audet to do work of their own.“

“I had Mark McCarthy and his crew here to handle a very large tree-removal project. I had 18 large ash trees that needed to be removed due to being struck by the ash borer disease. They did a fabulous job on a difficult site that spanned both my land and the neighbor behind me. Mark was responsive to all my questions, worked with me on the timing of the job, and included the removal of a great deal of bittersweet. His price was very fair and lower than other quotes I received. The site was left in decent condition, considering the difficulty of getting the trees cut down. All trees were removed from the site and all scrap was chipped. They completed the job in two days. Mark was very easy to work with and his crew were as well---very polite and responsive. Besides the good job done, he also offered to help me get my replacement trees planted. They did a terrific job with this as well. I highly recommend McCarthy Tree service for tree removal/cutting.“

“We recently just had Gnome complete a Granite walkway on the front of our house. Very long and lots of steps. I was hesitant to change because I liked our previous stone but wasn't really made for Maine weather. The new walkway that Gnome did is beyond beautiful. Even the fixing of the stone walls on the sides of the stairs are better than they were originally. The team that worked on it were on time, careful, precise with all measurements, easy to work with and talk to, adjusted to any of our needs and left the place spotless.
