They rock! No pun intended. :) The customer service was exceptional, and the install was fast and flawless. I would highly recommend Midcoast Marble & Granite, they are local folks who care about getting things done correctly the first time and with a smile on their face. We recently visited Midcoast Marble and Granite about doing soapstone counters in our kitchen in Union, Maine and met with Barbara. After looking at their inventory of slabs, we found exactly what we were looking for, soapstone with heavy viening and a lot of color variations, no one else had anything close to this stone. Barbara reviewed our kitchen layout ( around 77 square ft.) and worked up a price, we gave her a deposit and got on the their long list. The next week Al came out and did the templates and a week and a half later Al and his crew came and installed the beautiful counters. The skirting on my tile countertop sheared off and shattered. For years I dealt with my broken countertop because I was unable to research or find a solution on my own. Finally, I called Midcoast Marble & Granite to see if this was something they could help me fix. I found Barbara to be a creative problem solver and I found Al to be excellently experienced in his craft. Together, their minds delivered the exact product that I needed to complete my job, and they were even able to talk me through the DIY process of affixing the skirt back onto my countertop.
