Schoodic Animal Hospital is highly regarded for its compassionate and thorough care. The staff is consistently described as helpful and caring, ensuring pets feel comfortable, even those that are shy. With two decades of community service, the hospital has treated many pets, from routine check-ups to serious health issues, always with tenderness and skill. Many clients express deep gratitude for the support and expertise received during difficult times, making Schoodic Animal Hospital a trusted choice for pet care. The office is nice and clean and the vet techs were thorough in their work. Dr. Patrick was also thorough in his assessment and VERY friendly. Jenny goes out of her way to provide the best care for our animals and stops at nothing to help us. Jenny even donated medication to us when we were in need.
The most caring staff was able to see my sweet Babs on short notice at a time when it was very difficult to find veterinary care in Downeast Maine area. Great prices, and after seeing Babs once helped me last minute secure some medications when I found out I'd have to make a long drive with her. It is hard to describe how grateful I am for Schoodic Animal Hospital. They were able to offer a same-day appointment for my elderly dog while I was visiting the area on vacation. Unfortunately, my dog passed away naturally while there. The veterinary tech and the doctor were so compassionate and helpful to a dog and dog owner with no history or relationship to their practice. I am forever grateful to them for helping me on one of the most difficult days. Thank you so much to the wonderful vet tech and Dr. Patrick!
