My son got his first big boy haircut with Melissa when he was a year old. He screamed, cried and I had to hold him in my arms during his haircut. I was so embarrassed and didn’t even know what to say or think. With patience, reassurance and steady hands Melissa completed his hair cut and did an amazing job. Well, that was 8 yrs ago and we are still getting our hair cuts on a regular schedule, minus the crying and screaming.. lol Now, it’s about catching up with small talk, and lots of laughter. I just wanted to say thank you to Clipping Along and the whole crew for being part of mine and my sons life, and memories. Keep up the Great cuts. See you next visit!

Not what you'd expect from your local strip mall in Standish. This is the best haircut and crew in the greater Portland area. Melissa and team are talented and the absolute best down-to-earth people to talk to. Expect good vibes, fun banter, and a great haircut.

Melissa the miracle worker! My 3 year old has been a nightmare to have his hair cut and we have yet to be successful. A friend recommended Melissa and she was able to get it done! She was friendly, sweet, quick and his hair came out so great! We found our new shop for my son! Thank you!
