This place was the best! I was visiting family in Skowhegan and we decided to get my little one’s haircut. I was very hesitant as all of his haircuts have been a very big ordeal. My son hates them. Except this time he didn’t! We had Alicia as our hair dresser and she had the cutest toys for my son to play with while she worked on his hair to distract him. She was patient and quick. We left with zero tears, a bunch of laughs, and his haircut is soooo cute! Will definitely be back.
I’ve been going to Alan’s Cut Above since I was a little kid. I’ll never go anywhere else. It has a really great old school barber shop atmosphere and the staff is always professional and they pay attention to what you want. I’ve never had a bad haircut from this place.
