This morning I had come to the realization that I had forgotten to order flowers for my daughter and date for prom. Called many places in the Bangor area and I expected that I wouldn’t find anything, but was hopeful… no luck. Went to get some crafty things to try to make my own, but had a hard time finding the flowers I wanted to put into it. Called Blooming Barn Florist as a last resort…. So happy I did. Very accommodating and understanding. Put something together for me quickly and the results were beautiful! I am so very appreciative. We will be back for sure! Thank you!
Prompt and friendly service. I called for a Christmas centerpiece and It was prepared and ready in less than a couple hours. And now it is January 4th, and it still looks gorgeous.
I knew of this place because Coral did my hair for my wedding back in 2021, but today I had an appointment for a spiral perm with Cynthia and I was just blown away! Not only did she look at my hair to see what would work best, but she cut it in ways that really made my hair look healthier and my spiral perm stand up (and out) in the way that I was looking for! Cynthia was really easy to talk to (no awkward silences like you get with some stylists) and she listened to everything I explained when I told her what I was looking for. She even gave me tips for at home hair care, and for someone like me; who was never taught how to care for their hair, it meant a lot and I learned a lot! I will 100% be going back and referring everyone to her! She ACTUALLY CARED about how MY hair was and looked. She was amazing!
I highly recommend this place if you’re in the Newport area! So many years of experience are inside of this salon, and Sherri is absolutely amazing as a business owner, and a human in general. I always left feeling refreshed, and just a wee bit more confident. Call and make an appt!
I recently graduated from BLOOM’s LMT program in January. The school provided a wonderful atmosphere for learning, and Deb was so great at making the information digestible for anyone. It was such an amazing experience that I would do it over again if I had the chance. Deb really made me feel prepared for anything and continues to help me even after graduation. This type of learning atmosphere is something you truly don’t see much of anymore, and I am so proud to have been a part of it. I would highly recommend this program to anyone, but especially to men who are looking into becoming massage therapists.
Brittany did 2 boys haircuts and a wash cut and blow dry for both my daughter and I last minute. She was professional, sweet, accommodating, and did a great job. Thank you Brittany! We will be back soon

Betsy and Ashley have been utterly instrumental in the care and raising of both of my pups. As a first time solo dog owner I ended up with two rescues with a wealth of quirks and behaviors outside of what I had any experience with, and Betsy has always been an amazing sounding board and counsel on how to address my girls particularities and less than loved behaviors. Her advice has helped me help my dogs to be happy and healthy in brain as much as in body. One of my dogs is genuinely a nervous wreck, but under Betsy’s watch she’s blossomed into a goofy, energetic, affectionate dog whose relationships with other dogs and people as well have grown in monumental and obvious ways. I can’t recommend Moosehead Trail Boarding Kennel enough! They provide more than just a place to pop your pups while you’re busy, they truly take interest in their health and well being and treat all the dogs in their care like a part of their own pet family!
