EDIT*****I wanted to update my review since we've now been seeing Madison vets for 5-6 years. We're still extremely happy with them. They're extremely accommodating (obviously they can't always be, but if there's a way to get us in, they'll find it.) My son's rats recently had an issue needing attention and idk how they did it, but they managed to squeeze us in within 25 min of my phone call. Many times in the past, they've somehow finagled a way to see our dogs when they needed care that couldn't wait until their earliest appointment date. Someone sacrificed lunch or their break I'm sure. They were fantastic with my having to bring my toddler to appointments as well....read full review

We have been taking our dog to Madison Animal Hospital for years! They are great about making sure the waiting area is clear and safe when we come in and out because our pup is not dog friendly. Our boy is very sensitive and they are so sweet and gentle with him.

I'm not one who typically writes reviews but our experience yesterday warrants it. At about 4pm our dog took a huge bite of a porcupine! As were were frantically trying to get her in the truck we called MAH and they said bring her right in. At 4:30 we showed up looking like a bomb had gone off in our truck. They were prepared and waiting for our arrival - she was sedated immediately (which was a huge relief) then, they went to work. Not only did they pull 500 - 1000 quills (vets estimate) but they stayed well past closing time to get us taken care of. Our monster is home with pain meds and antibiotics and resting comfortably.
