Lord Boys Painting and Restoration

Dylan and his crew at Lord Boys Painting and Restoration were a Godsend! We had been looking for painters to take on this project for a while - and everyone was busy or unreliable. Then one day, by happenstance, we ran into Dylan while he was parked by Starboard creek waiting for his crew. My husband pulled up next to him and asked, “Are you a painter?!” Dylan responded, “I am.” My husband replied, “We need a painter! Will you look at our house?” So Dylan agreed to cross the creek to see the house that Kåre (By Nature Builders) had so meticulously built for us. After looking over everything, he said he would finish this project for us as soon as he finished some more exterior work projects he had pending - but that he would dedicate himself to finishing the prep work and doing the painting as soon as he was done. And that he did! Flawlessly, meticulously - absolute perfection! We were so lucky to have run into him and to have been fit into his schedule. The photos speak for themselves.

We recently had Dylan and his team paint all our house trim. We have a gambrel so there was more roofline than normal to deal with along with the rest. Our primary crew, Rob and Patrick, were two of the hardest working people we've seen, especially since they were working in the August sun, They took everything down to bare wood, then primed and added two layers of top coat. Rain was forecast so they asked if they could work on a Saturday to get all the bare wood covered with primer. They obviously take great pride in their work as well as the quality of the end product.

Dylan was also great to work with. He communicated regularly with scheduling and progress. The entire process, along with the end result, was commendable. I wish I had before and after photos. Our house looks new!
