communication was excellent ... from the portal to the telephone to the front desk. the pa and the doctor were great and pointed out something i needed to take care of, as well as resolving the issue for which i made the appointment. my doctor was not available for an immediate appointment, however another doctor was and all was better than i hoped. my first time in gorham, since i transferred from the portland location, and i'm very glad i made that decision.

I just had to give a shout out to Jane in the radiology department at the Gorham location. I am lucky enough to need my first mammogram this year and was quite nervous about it. My first appt had to be rescheduled, and when I showed up this morning before an important work meeting I was informed that Jane was alone/down a coworker and would get to me as soon as she could. At the thought of having to reschedule again I was quite upset due to the anxiety around the appt and Jane was able to see this and got me in super fast and gave me the best mammogram experience I can imagine you could have and got me out in plenty of time to make it to my work appt. Doctors are good, but its almost impossible to see your Primary Care provider unless you make an appointment 8 months in advance. Even if you do schedule your appointment 8 months to 1 year in advance there is a chance there will be a scheduling conflict. That will require you to reschedule another 4-5 months out, it can be extremely frustrating and it is the reason I am looking for another family doctor.
