One patient, a guinea pig named Smudge, received immediate care from Dr. Murphy for an eye infection and was fully recovered within a week. The clinic's emergency services were highly praised by a client who brought in their elderly dog after another veterinary hospital was unable to see him for two days. The Fryeburg Veterinary Hospital staff acted quickly, saving the dog's life with emergency surgery.
The clinic is known for their compassionate and loving treatment of animals, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure that pets are well taken care of. They understand the special bond between pets and their owners and treat each pet as if they were their own. Clients appreciate the dedication of the staff, who keep communication open through timely text messages, phone calls, and emails. The clinic has been a source of comfort for clients who have had to say goodbye to their beloved pets while continuing to provide excellent care for those who still have furry family members. Dr. Susan Simkins is particularly noted for her phenomenal care, considering both the pets and their owners.
The vets are thorough and go above and beyond. The vet techs are gentle and treat shy cats kindly. When there wasn’t enough staffing to see my cat urgently, the office staff promptly advised me where I could go for affordable urgent care so he could be treated. I trust the medical staff to look out for my cats’ wellbeing.
We have complete trust in the Fryeburg Veterinary Hospital.
The veterinarians are knowledgeable, personable, and caring.
Over the past 17 years, the veterinarians have handled illness, injuries, vaccinations, and general checkups for our dogs and cats.
More than once, it was the comforting words and actions of the veterinarians that helped us to cope with the end of life decisions that had to be made.
.......and the staff are very helpful and kind too. Phone calls are returned promptly.
