rachel and her team make your experience at blush outstanding from the minute you walk in. from the attentive staff offering drinks, to the beautiful space, you know you are in the right place to be taken care of. i have had the pleasure of both holly and rachel cutting my hair, and they are both so excellent at what they do. with years of experience, you just cant go wrong if you are looking for the best place to get your haircut in the midcoast area. seeing rachel fulfill this dream of hers has been wonderful. and it is such a gift to the community. i have also had luck with getting a last minute haircut from the waiting list, which has been a lifesaver at times....read full review
While staying in Maine, I found this amazing boutique salon tucked away on Business Route One. I came in weekly for blowouts and styling for my hair extensions, and every visit was a treat. Sadie Bryant, an apprentice, is incredibly talented and made me feel so welcome. The whole team is friendly, and the receptionist greets you with a smile, coffee, and snacks. Their products smell amazing, and they also offer stylish earrings, hair clips, and elastics that are hard to resist. From the moment you walk in, it feels like a cozy, relaxing retreat with a warm and welcoming vibe. Truly a gem! Give Sadie and the team a try, you won’t regret it!
In touch with current techniques- great attention to detail and personal taste. Natatia is such a pro as are all the hairstylists at Blush. I have sensitive skin issues and they have never let me down and always provide first rate care, high quality products, and expertise I can totally trust. We are lucky to have them right here, in Damariscotta - I forget I’m in a small town when I’m there- feels like I’m back in NYC….real pros.
