Matt Barbour has guided me through some tumultuous tax years. I made the mistake of using Turbo Tax one year. It took hours of frustrating phone calls and 13 months to get my refund. We’ve been using McLeod Ascanio for years and sadly the service has gotten worse and worse. The firm seems to mismanage its time such that they never have time to answer questions. They provide almost no actual tax guidance, and each year our returns are way off which causes thousands in unpaid taxes or refunds, along with government penalties. Their lack of attention to detail and poor time management has cost us thousands of dollars. I’ll be moving my business to another firm next season.
