Working with Jason and Maine Coast Contracting ,over the last five years,we’ve collaborated on a full range of residential projects together...from installing an entry door system,to a complete renovation of a 5500 sq.ft., 5 bedroom 6 bath, classic shingle style home. Jason and MCC have been an integral part of my families home since 2016. No job has been too big or too small for Jason. He has a keen eye for matching the time specific details of our home with modern construction materials. My husband and I moved to a ranch in East Boothbay, downsizing from a home in Windham, N.H. It did not take long to realize that the house would not fit our children and grandchildren from California. We began the search for a builder to put on a second story. I thought “ This shouldn’t be to hard , I sold real estate and worked with builders for thirty years”. After meeting with a few, the common refrain was “. I’ll get back to you “ We needed to get going-it was fall and winter was looming. ‘We happened to spot a truck with “Maine Coast Contracting‘ We called and Jason Davis agreed to meet with us a few days later. We were very impressed with is knowledge, designs suggestions and the sense of pride he had in his workmanship. He was busy but we thought he was worth the wait. He assured us that once the roof was off they would work everyday to close us in and sure enough they did.He and his crew were here by 7:00 am going at it without breaks in bitter cold weather and all with great attitudes. They worked weekends, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve... what more could one ask for ! We saw the respect and camaraderie Jason shared with his workers. He took time to discuss ideas with us and made great decisions on architectural details. We discovered a gem and we think he should be acknowledged for it. If a boating community analogy works best- with Jason Davis at the helm ,there is smooth sailing in spite of snow, wind and freezing cold temperatures. Maine Coast Contracting gets the job done.
