Our first Kennebec Company kitchen was in a Federal period house in Massachusetts, nearly 40 years ago. We were so pleased with it that we brought them back when we moved to a slightly older house in New Hampshire ten years later. In both cases, the cabinetry was designed to complement the look and feel of the 200 year old dwelling, and in both cases we were delighted with the outcome.Fast forward to the present. I wanted to post about our experience with Kennebec Company in our new kitchen. It was an amazing experience. We were working with them as part of a major home renovation, so the kitchen space was entierly new, in a bump out.Heather (our designer) was easy to work with, and came up with a wonderful plan. The design process was very smooth, and she gave us several ideas we hadn't considered, that ended up being great additions.When the cabinets arrived, our project manager hadn't recognized the scope of the cabinets we were getting (even though he had been given plans along the way) and wasn't prepared to move furniture-grade cabinets. From initial concepts with Heather, to our timely start and finish (and install!), Kennebec Cabinetry is the star of our very special southern Maine waterfront kitchen renovation. The professionalism of the staff, and the amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail are unsurpassed.
