This company is a nightmare. June 18: I called and they committed to arrive June 19, stating BGE would de-energize the lines that day. June 19: They showed up early and began trimming—but abruptly left, claiming BGE canceled their scheduled work. NOW LEAVING THE TREE HEAVY AND LEANING TOWARD OUR HOME. June 20: They attempted again, but canceled once more—then rescheduled for June 24. June 24: Canceled again, citing BGE issues. June 25: I emailed them; the same employee—Jade—called my husband and said July 3 would work. He asked for an earlier slot. June 27: When I followed up, they informed us that due to lack of confirmation from my husband, they’d assigned the job elsewhere, and the earliest available date is now July 8. In total: four scheduled dates (June 19, 20, 24, and 3rd or 8th), all canceled or postponed by them. Jade claimed BGE requires 4 business-days advance notice, yet the original date was June 19. The latest appointment—July 8—is seven business days away from the June 27 call, which contradicts her own explanation. I have reached out again to Ameri-tree to see if they could come sooner with heavy rain and upcoming storms, the half-cut tree is now a potential wrecking ball toward our house and power lines. Refusal to Accept Accountability: The person I have spoke to each time, Jade told me to bet on my insurance—not them—to cover any damage from their mess. Clear Negligence: They left a dangerous situation unresolved and have yet to correct it. When I spoke to them today Jade said there was a chance they would have to reschedule my next appointment July 8th. By starting the job and leaving the tree in a more dangerous state, this company has crossed from incompetence to gross negligence. Their unwillingness to take responsibility llustrates a shocking lack of professionalism and respect for customer safety. Update; the Office Manger who refused to give me her name, Hi Char! Canceled coming out to complete the job because of my 'behavior' which was asking to speak to the owner.Dont use this company. They will destroy your property and not follow through. A true nightmare.
I am so pleased with the crew that came today to cut down 3 huge trees....very, very tall....80 feet?.....these guys were cheerful and professional. Their teamwork was impressive....six guys, and every one of them was necessary. ~ They left my yard in excellent condition, and went above and beyond to make it clean. I was impressed with the brave men who did the climbing....they really knew how to do the cutting to make the pieces fall away from the house. ~. They were all very kind in making sure they knew what I was asking for, and then making sure they did it. I took Ameritree up on its sale, which was very nice, but I hope to use them next time because of their great work. I give them 10 stars!!!! Hope they each get a bonus!!!!! 😉
