J & L Towing and Recovery has been proudly providing residential and commercial towing services and recovery to the residents of Prince George's County since 2004. They offer a wide range of services, including towing, roadside assistance, snow emergency towing, tire changes, jump starts/battery service, retrieving keys locked in cars, fuel delivery, accident recovery and equipment transport, and parking control services. Customers have praised the company's exceptional service. One customer, Tony, was impressed not only with the roadside assistance provided but also with the helpful resources offered about car maintenance. Another customer was grateful for the pleasant and kind assistance they received when retrieving a stolen car involved in a hit-and-run. Even in a holiday emergency situation, the company's friendly service and reasonable pricing were appreciated.
They do Predatory Towing, Where I live there is not much parking and where there is parking , They towed my car from there. This is not the first time they did some illegal mess. I am a Law Enforcement Officer and I am watching them . The drivers are Thieves and I will catch them in the act. That company needs to be shut down. If I can give them no stars they would not even get 1
This place is the worst!! I will give the one star only because the tow driver seems to know how to handle himself in the face of pressure and adversity. Beyond that, they either do not answer the phone or they answer and then hang up. You have to wait endlessly to retrieve your vehicle, but they want their money! And please don't think you'll avoid an overnight fee simply because they don't make themselves available. Whoever hired them for ANY job needs their head examined. Admittedly, no one really likes tow companies, but when you have something that belongs to other people and don't answer your phones, or pick up and hang up rather than deal with the customers, you...read full review
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY CAR WAS PARKED IN A SHOPPING CENTER IN A HANDICAPPED SPOT, WITH MY TAG HANGING. APPARENTLY, THE TAG FELL & MY CAR WAS TOWED. WHEN I CALLED TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED, THERE WAS NO EMPATHY AT ALL. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A BUSINESS, BUT THEY ABSOLUTELY NEED TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION EACH PERSON'S SITUATION. I HAVE A PERMANENT TAG BECAUSE OF MY DISABILITY, & I WAS STRANDED 50 MILES FROM HOME. THEY ALSO WENT THROUGH MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS THAT WERE LEFT IN MY CAR. ITEMS THAT WERE IN MY BACK SEAT WERE IN THE FRONT WHEN I PICKED MY CAR UP, AND AFTER DOING A THROUGH LOOK THROUGH MY VEHICLE, I REALIZED I ALSO HAVE MONEYMISSING FROM MY CAR!...read full review
