My grandmother has been a Dulaney Eye Institute patient for the past 4 months. She had sudden vision changes and urgently needed to see an ophthalmologist. We were able to get an appointment quickly, especially for a specialty. All of the staff are very kind and work hard to accommodate her wheelchair use and limited mobility. Her doctor, Dr. Nelson, takes the time to listen to my grandmother’s concerns and to explain every diagnosis and procedure. He strikes a good balance between efficiency and great bedside manner.
