5/19/23 was my second visit to About Faces. initially, I was a little disappointed because the person that I requested for my facial called out of work. so not only did that change, they also changed my appointment time for 15 minutes earlier. I will say, About Faces never disappoints. this time I had, Emmy for my massage, oh my goodness, she was fantastic with such remarkable skill!!! Then I had Kelly for my facial, her fingers were so soft and her technique was amazing. she was also attentive to my needs regarding skin care products as I was looking for something to brighten the appearance of my skin and she recommended an exfoliator for me. I enjoyed my first spa day at About Faces after receiving a holiday spa package from my husband for Christmas. The package included a 45 minute massage, mini facial, classic mani/pedi. The spa is located on the same level as Trader Joe's but on the opposite end. I arrived 15 minutes early and checked in at the store front. The young lady then escorted me to the spa and the experience began. Another lady then showed me the ladies lounge where I was able to lock my belongings and change into a robe and slippers. I was gifted a spa gift certificate from my work and I was very excited to use it for the Spa Pedicure, an upgraded pedicure experience! I had a gift certificate through a third-party service called "spa gift finder." When I told the receptionist I had that she looked at me and said "We hate those things." I was shocked and had no idea what to say- I found this very unprofessional. It was quite off putting and left me thinking "Ok, I won't come back here next time."
