Follow-Up Review – Carrier System Installation by McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning (Installed 5/27/2025)
I recently had McCrea install a Carrier 4-ton single-stage AC and a Carrier Comfort 80 furnace in my townhome—and the entire experience exceeded expectations.
I chose this system largely because McCrea installed a nearly identical Carrier setup in 2005 when my home was built. That system ran strong for over 20 years without a single issue. George was an amazing technician. He took the time to clearly explain what needed to be fixed and made sure I understood how to operate and adjust the unit as a new homeowner. He also explained the purpose of the Aprilaire system and the other components, which I really appreciated.
His thoroughness, patience, and attention to detail gave me a much better understanding of my system. Some additional work still needs to be completed, so the team will be returning, but I feel fully confident that the current issues—and any potential concerns—will be properly addressed. I truly appreciate the level of service George provided.
My process started with John Prince. His professionalism, honest feedback and sharing of the steps through the process made my decision to go with McCrea easy. Then the work completed by Mike Childers was exceptional..along with David's assistance in setting up the thermostat. Overall great experience and would recommend them to everyone.
