Sam at Taneytown Family Barber Shop is a gem. Whether you're looking for a refresher pick me up, a new hairstyle, or even a routine color she is fantastic. I met Sam a couple of years ago when I went with my boyfriend for his haircuts. I had previously had a terrible experience at a favored salon in Frederick where I had my entire head dyed red, I lost faith in hair professionals because red is nearly impossible to remove. However, Sam changed my perspective. She took the time to explain the process and the time needed to achieve my desired results. Fast forward to today, I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Sam for over two years now, every six weeks without fail, and I always look forward to my appointments. She always welcomes me with a smile and offers me tea or a cup of coffee. I always feel fantastic when I leave her chair. People often stop and ask me where I get my hair done, and I'm proud to recommend Sam every time.
