Been going here for years now. Currently they’re low on staff so they’re not accepting new patients, but besides that they have always seen my babies. For a while there they were the closest to me but they have the best price and take good care of my animals. I definitely recommend seeing the male veterinarian. Thank you all for what you do ❤️

Dr Conlon cared for both of our 16 year old Shih Tzus. And Dr Ben Byers did the ACL surgery on both of LuLu’s back legs. Continued care was given for 3 more of our Shih Tzus. Keeping them well was just as important as the last day when each dr helped me with the final goodbye. I appreciate our country clinic. I feel like unnecessary tests are not performed, prices are kept low, and even with a cut on doctors the staff have maintained quality care.

Smithsburg Vet is affordable and they genuinely care. I’ve had mostly great experiences with them. They never try and upsell anything that isn’t necessary. They are honest and go above and beyond with communicating. They are transparent about costs up front and will give you a time line of when things/tests should be done by. I drive 45 minutes to Smithsburg Vet because no other practice compares to the care they provide!
