My second-floor hot water heater decided to malfunction when I was on a cruise. I live in a townhouse/villa condo community. My next-door neighbor, (fortunately), spotted water running from my front door. To make a long story short, my condo manager recommended United Restoration; they used them before and were well pleased. From what I understand, United Restoration came out almost immediately and started the mitigation process. I arrived to see my home 2 days later. I cried when I saw it but according to my neighbors it looked good compared to what it was. United Restoration packed up my stuff efficiently and I easily found what I needed. They dried out the house very quickly - still in the drying process - and because they got there so quickly it appears there will be no mold problems. They are still in the drying/packing process. I met with Joe Pino, the Manager and estimator, the next business day. He explained clearly the damages and what will be needed; he is dealing with the Insurance company as well. They are a full-service company, so I won't be worrying about contractors, etc. They also are dealing with the insurance company. I cannot tell you how pleased and greatful for the work they are doing.
Our unit had water damage, the team at United Restoration was excellent! They kept me in the loop at all times.Chris went out of his way to alert me of another potential issue non-related to the water damage. Had Chris not taken his time with a thorough inspection of our condo unit, we would have had a catastrophic event.
