Oh my gosh, I can't believe I haven't reviewed Sunny's yet. I've been going here for about 4 years. I love Kristen. She is Sunny's daughter and is amazing. She only works once a week but I always ask for her. Sunny is great too! So nice and easy to talk to both of them. Kristen knows what she's doing and I'm always so happy when I leave. I usually get a color done every 3 months and then highlights like twice a year. Love her curly blow outs as well! They last about 3/4 days with dry shampoo in between! She takes her time and I love being there so i make sure to block off a good 3 hours for what I get done. Also her shampoos washes are awesome, It's my favorite part :)

I'm really, REALLY touchy about my hair. It grows kind of slowly, and I've had bad experiences of a new stylist lopping off way more than I asked them to do. So ... I moved to Odenton in July of 2017 and just now got a haircut! LOL I called at about 8:40 this morning, surprised to find that they open at 8. I asked for an appointment after noon, and she offered 1:30 - great. I did wait a few minutes for her to finish the client before me, but I could tell she really cares about giving the best possible result, which held true when she spent nearly an hour on my simple wash, cut & style. Sunny is just delightful to talk to, so I enjoyed my time in her chair. The only thing I specified was to keep my bangs just touching my eyebrows, and I am pleased with them being exactly right. I didn't give any other real direction, just shared that I don't like a lot of layers because I like to put my hair up when it gets hot. She told me, "You need a little bit of layers because it's thin," which is true and to which I agreed. Before the first cut, she held up the ends and showed me about 3/4" and said the splits needed that much to come off, and again I agreed. The end result, while not a style I can or would do myself except for special occasions (I don't curl my hair otherwise) is very flattering - my daughter and SIL said so! ;) I'll post an update in a couple of days, after I wash and blow-dry it myself - that is the real test, for me.

I love my new haircut-my hair looks more voluminous and falls in the right place without much styling. Definitely what I need. Finally found the right salon ... and they use Redken. The price was more than fair for this area.
