I am typing to express how satisfied we are with Pintail Builders on a redecking of our wooden deck. Over the years, I have built over 2000 sq. ft. of decking and dock by myself, and the original section I did almost 50 years ago was starting to show its age —the substructure (joists, posts, beams, etc.) was fine, but the decking was showing signs of rot and could become dangerous to walk on in spots. I was going to redo the decking myself, but I’m a lot older and slower than I was 50 years ago; I also wanted to get the deck done in time for us to enjoy during the spring and summer months, but working by myself versus a team of workers made that timeline questionable....read full review

I am very particular when it comes to choosing a contractor for work on my home, and I am thrilled to say that I’ve had the BEST experience with Pintail Builders currently working on my home in Caine Woods, Ocean City, MD. Not only did they do a wonderful job removing main bearing walls and installing new doorways to open and brighten the house, but they also corrected and perfected several issues left behind by a previous contractor.

We recently worked with Chris and his team to help restore some hardwood floors in a home we recently purchased. Chris did a great job with communicating the scope of the work, expectations, and timeframes. There was a small issue with miscommunication on the scope of the project, but it did not affect the overall results, and he made sure to explain the details and adjust final cost accordingly. His team knocked it out of the park.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company, and would definitely look them up again for future work, thanks for helping us out in a timely manner!
