She worked efficiently, and the final result was even better than the picture I showed her. The braids are neat, comfortable, and not too tight, which is my biggest concern. “This was my first time at the salon in Ft. Washington. When I walked in, I was greeted by the staff and asked who I was here to see. Ari was my stylist. She seemed kind but you could tell that she was bothered by having more than one client. Her other client asked her how long it would be and she just ignored her. I asked how often I should come to get my locs retwisted and she said she didn't know. I would have given this salon 5 stars if it weren't for her. She does a good job but needs to work on time management and try to answer questions to the best of her ability or ask another stylist. Mahogany saw that i had been waiting a bit to get the final touches done to my hair and stepped in to take the pins out, oil and do my edges. I will definitely return to the salon to get my hair done but I will not go back to Ari.“

She doesn’t just do your hair and send you on your way and she takes the time to educate you on how to properly care for your locs between appointments. You will never walk a way and not feel comfortable with your hair. When I first started going to her, I was dealing with breakage around my edges. Since then, my hair has improved so much that I felt comfortable dyeing it for the first time and my locs have grown several inches under her care. The salon experience is always professional and you can tell she truly prioritizes healthy hair.“
