“One of my rabbits died due to a complication during neutering, not by fault of the vet. He and the staff were so kind and generous to me, making a horrific tragedy a lot less painful. Thank you everyone. I recommend them highly.”
“I've been using Somerset for a while now for routine services. Recently, one of my dogs was ill. I recognized the urgency in her symptoms and took her straight to a 24 hour facility since it was a Friday afternoon. I was hit with a 4-8K estimate or euthanasia. At this point, my dog was still stable, eating and drinking with decent energy and no fever. I was an ER tech for several years. I knew what to expect. I opted to take her home which the vet wasn't too happy with. She remained stable through the weekend and I called Somerset on Monday for a second opinion. I had an appointment for Thursday but Dr. Reed called me on Tuesday and I explained what had been going on. He got me in for an appointment that afternoon. After some more diagnostics, we scheduled her for surgery the next day at a fraction of the cost of the 24 hour facility. My dog was able to stay home until surgery day and come home with me that night to recover. That is gold standard care in my book. Thankful to still have this as a locally owned veterinary practice in the area. Just wish they still saw livestock!”
“Dr. Giza and her team are an absolutely incredible, kind hearted, compassionate, patient group of women. Our dogs have always received the best care from them. As our dogs have gotten older, Dr. Giza always takes time to thoroughly answer our questions, even calling us after hours to provide us with updates on lab work we’ve been waiting on. Dealing with sick, injured, and aging pets can be a very challenging and emotional experience, and we have always felt cared for and completely satisfied and confident with the care our dogs have received. Pets On the Shore is the best!”
