I have seen Dr. McDermott for about the last 16 years, and now our whole family is treated by her, including my toddler and 9 month old. The quality of care, availability, and expertise has remained unmatched in Calvert County since I started seeing her. Leah is professional, friendly, and has exceptional skills in patient care coordination. She is always a delight to talk to, and everyone is so sweet and understanding with our littles. We feel very lucky to be able to be supported and cared for by Dr. McDermott and her incredible staff.

I highly recommend Dr. Karen Mcdermott after having been a patient intermittently for nearly 20 years. During that time she saved me from surgery at least twice. When I first met Dr. McDermott, it was due to a work related injury to my lower back. The injury took several months to recover during which she provided care and physical therapy that I needed to get me walking again. Later when I developed sudden numbness in my fingers lasting two weeks, I immediately reached out to her again and after just two treatments 95% of the feeling returned to my fingers and several sessions after that, I had 100% restoration and the numbness was gone. I have been a hightly satisfied patient of Dr. McDermott for many years. She has treated me with both routine chiropractic "adjustments" as well as three acute conditions. She approaches each session with empathy and concern and always answers questions I may have. Her staff as well as Dr. McDermott are highly professional. If changes to schedules occaionally must occur, they personally reach out in advance.
