This experience was unreal…Brought a photo, told Mark I want a real clean fade. That he did.Only complaint is they are very thorough with each customer!! The barber may take longer than you expect on the previous client. AND YOU!Man,,, every time I go to a new barber I’m always worried the barber will prioritize their familiar walk-in clients over a new customer. Mark literally had his familiar customer sit in the seat when it was time for my appointment and Mark asked “if I was waiting on him?” I said “yeah, sorry” and his friend got up, sat on the side, and we all talked and listened to music and discussed how crazy my hair transformation was. This was my first time to Thompson’s! I was extremely pleased with the hospitality of this establishment. The first accommodation was that I did not have an appointment and I had to get out of there in thirty minutes. I called and was told to come in and wait for the next barber.The next barber in was Lattimore, the owner, and he did a sweet fade on me in under 20 minutes!He was asking if I was pleased with the haircut and we had great conversation during the cut. I highly recommend this place. Good people, good cuts, good times. I’ll be back!

On March 30, 2023, while visiting friends in Baltimore MD, I did a walk-in to get a haircut at Thompson's Family & Friends Lattimore"s barbershop. I was seated in a barber's chair and a young barber named Jamal Anderson informed me he was my barber. We had a good conversation and he did a great job cutting my hair. I was very impressed with Jamal's professional demeanor, haircutting skill and enthusiasm in perfecting his trade as a barber. I told him he was now my permanent barber whenever I am visiting Baltimore .
