I ask at the hotel if there was a barber nearby, and they recommended Upper Cuts. I was on a walk yesterday and saw that they were open, and popped in. Rickey said there was an opening at 12:30. Well let me tell you it was worth the 45min wait, took a stroll around the sights. In the end a wonderful cut and pleasant conversation. Thanks again Rickey! Great job.
I have been searching for a barber since I arrived here in DC nearly 4 years ago. I had heard about Upper Cutts, but didn't check it out. Today, I had my breakthrough! Lamont was my barber and he was fantastic. He was fast, meticulous and informative. The shop was well maintained, staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Can't believe that I waited this long to try Upper Cutts...it was a knockout!
