Excellent drumming instructor for all ages! Affordable alternative to big name studios - allows for customized lessons and private sessions at the students own pace, without the need to prepare for any band performances. Chris is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly! His organization skills allow him to bounce between his students flawlessly, remembering details of each person's journey, strengths, and challenges. He has a great set up with full drum sets for in-person or virtual learning. I highly recommend him for anyone wanting to learn the drums, whether for a rock band, marching band, or personal hobby.
I've been taking lessons from Chris for about a year now, first in person and then online after I moved out of the area. Chris has been great. At first I was skeptical of doing online lessons but after trying them I found I was still able to make really good progress. Chris is an excellent musician and teacher and I especially appreciate the positive and encouraging energy that he brings to every lesson. For those able to take in-person lessons: the studio is awesome and there is a nice, comfortable waiting area.
Chris is an excellent teacher. He is very patient and encouraging with his students. He is very easy to work with. Plus, the intimacy of working with a private instructor verses a big box store is totally worth it in my book. Highly recommend.
